How to Get Verified on Kick: 2026 Requirements

· 5 min read

Verification is the first formal step Kick offers a growing channel, and the Partner Program sits directly on top of it. Both have published criteria in Kick's help centre, and both are measured over a rolling thirty-day window. This guide sets out what those criteria are as of October 2026, what each one actually asks of you, and how the two stages fit together. Kick revises these numbers from time to time, so check the help centre before you plan around any of them.

The verification requirements

Kick's help article on becoming a verified streamer lists four channel metrics, all measured over the past thirty days. You need to have streamed for at least 15 hours, held an average of at least 50 concurrent viewers, had at least 100 unique chatters, and have a minimum of 10 active subscriptions.

Read those together rather than one at a time. The hours are the part you control directly. The average concurrent viewer figure is an average across your streams, not a peak, so one good evening does not carry a quiet month. The unique chatter count and the subscription count are both measures of people who actually engage with the channel, and neither moves just because the viewer number does.

That last point is the one most channels underestimate. A channel can reach 50 average viewers and still fall short on chatters or subscriptions if the audience watches without taking part. Kick is asking for evidence of a community, not only an audience.

The security qualifications

On top of the metrics, Kick lists three security qualifications. Two-factor authentication must be enabled on your account. The channel must have at least two on-channel VODs from the past seven days. And there must be no Terms of Service violations on the account in the past thirty days.

The first is a five-minute job and worth doing today regardless of verification. The VOD requirement catches channels that stream regularly but have VODs switched off or deleted, so check your settings before you apply. The violation window means a recent strike pushes your earliest application date back, even if every other number is in place.

How to apply for verification

Verification is not automatic. According to the help centre, once you meet the requirements you email Kick support from the email address registered to your account, and include your channel name and the type of content you stream. Using a different address slows things down, because the request cannot be matched to the account.

Kick is explicit that meeting the requirements makes you eligible rather than guaranteeing approval. Treat the published numbers as the minimum for being considered, and expect the channel itself, its content and its conduct, to be looked at as well.

What can get verification refused or removed

Kick publishes a separate article on the grounds for refusing or revoking verification and Partner status. It covers breaches of the Terms of Service, the Community Guidelines, the DMCA Policy and the Partner Program terms, including repeated violations within a thirty-day period. It also covers inactivity of more than 90 days, mirror streams, blank streams and pre-recorded content passed off as live, missing VODs, and unauthorised use of copyrighted material.

The same article names practices that artificially manipulate statistics as grounds for refusal, including joining communities designed to inflate metrics and self-financing subscriptions to a channel. That matters for anyone who uses growth services. Bought viewers are not unique chatters and are not subscribers, so they do nothing for most of the criteria above, and Kick treats artificial inflation of statistics as a reason to refuse. If you use a service like the one on our /buy-kick-viewers/ page for visibility, do not expect it to count towards verification, and weigh it against these rules before you apply.

A refused or removed channel can reapply after thirty days once it meets the requirements again, and removals can be appealed through support.

From verified to Kick Partner

The Kick Partner Program is the next stage, and a verified channel is a precondition for it. Kick's help centre and its streamer site list the Partner metrics over the past thirty days as an average of at least 75 concurrent viewers, at least 30 hours streamed, at least 25 active subscriptions, at least 250 unique chatters and at least 3 VODs, plus at least 250 followers overall.

There are profile requirements too. Your About section must be complete and your relevant social media accounts linked, and the channel must comply with the Terms of Service, the Community Guidelines, the DMCA Policy and the Partner Program terms. As with verification, you apply by email from the address on your account with your username, and Kick states that meeting the requirements makes you eligible to apply rather than guaranteeing entry.

Kick's streamer site describes the Partner benefits as revenue per stream on top of keeping 95% of every subscription, and it offers a Fast Track route for creators who already have an established community on another platform. A practical order of work

Start with the parts that cost nothing. Turn on two-factor authentication, make sure VODs are saved, and fill in your About section and social links now, because you will need them for Partner later anyway.

Then fix the schedule. Fifteen hours in thirty days is about three and a half hours a week, and thirty hours for Partner is about seven. A schedule you can hold on a bad week does more for both thresholds than an occasional long stream.

Finally, work on engagement rather than the raw count. Talk to chat, answer by name, and give people a reason to type and to subscribe. The chatter and subscription criteria are where verification is usually won or lost, and they only move when real people decide to take part. Track your own numbers across the window and apply when they have been above the line for a while, not on the first day they cross it.
